A patron at the exhibit brought me a ticket stub from the original 1979 King Tut exhibit at the Met.  The face value?  A “suggested contribution” of $2.00.

Must say, I think I’m pulling for the Nets at this point.  You can’t beat Jay-Z and a giant, Russian mobster staring down the competition .

Inspired by New York magazine’s recent list of the 101 Best Sandwiches in NY, I visited Peanut Butter & Co. last week to try out #100 on the list.  The Elvis is peanut butter, banana, bacon and honey on toast and was delicious if a bit hard to swallow.
